My cousin Faith took me to the Lusaka City Market where you can get great bargains for almost anything. We got a lift to the outskirts of town with my Aunt then took the local mini buses to City Market. City market is a massive covered market near Lusaka town centre heaving with hunamity. As we walked toward the market entrance there were many little restuarants take aways and groceries all teeming with busniess. The covered area; the main part of the market was houses the clothing, tailoring, butchery, electrical and hardware stalls all with bargains waiting to be had. After exploring this part of the market we went through to the open air back-end of the market where the wares ranged from second hand clothes, dry legumes and fish as well as fresh vegetables and hair salons. The market was an amazing experience and personal space at a premium as every one goes on with their business of buying, selling and bargaining.
