After many business trips to Paris I thought it was about time I explore the city, the last time I did was probably nearly ten years ago. Frederique was an excellent tour guide taking us to Piagelle for coffee before we headed to Montmarte to the look at the market and street artists. We headed into the Basilica of the Sacre Cour to say a prayer …being agnostic I generally just pretend on these sorts of occasions!!!! In the afternoon we were off to Père Lachaise Cemetery where Jim Morrison was buried (to name one of many famous residents!) fifteen years after watching The Doors movie I finally make it to his grave! After exploring the cemetery and FINALLY finding Oscar Widle's grave it was time to get some of the free Paris bicycles and head to La Maree for a drink and watch the world go by. After a little more cycling…a little bit more merrier this time… we headed out for dinner. The following day we headed to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Élysées & the Louvree …Paris is a lovely city! Singing off for this weekend!
