Hey Tasha. How's things going? Good? Good. Guess what! I've quit my job and I'm moving back to Norwich. Basically 'cos that's where I wanna be, at least, at the moment. Hopefully this will all work out and I'll find myself very happy. Well, have fun!
Grandpa And Grandma
Grandma was delighted to get your telephone call on her 80th and also for the thoughtful card you left behind for her. Your Dad and Mum acting as wonderful host and hostess for a little party given at their home for Grandma and her friends. All the family had also a super night out at a Bistro in Beverley - supermeal and good company. Your smiling face was the only down side to the evening .Gabrielle in her new (second hand) BMW acted as our driver but forgot to wear her chauffeur's cap. We both look forward to gettimg your up date news on your travels - sounds you are having a super time. I don't think the waves are high enough in the Humber for your surving when you return. We are having a new block paving done for our drive at the end of the month ready for your return. Apart for this shattering piece of news all is well at No 9. Love from Oggs and Grandma XXXXXX

Hey Tasha,
Wow it sounds incredible - why would you want to come back??!! Do though, I'd miss you if you stayed! Although it'd be pretty cool to have somewhere to stay in Oz. Lucky you doing all that partying and you gotta love the aussie guys! Everyone I've met from Oz has been so chilled and friendly. I say we need some more of that back here! Pls bring the weather back with you I'm getting paler as we speak hehe. I need some vit D now, very fed up of the winter. Although it's been quite sunny and a high 18 degrees over the weekend! Right I'm going on a bit, I'd better go...... Pls somehow fix your camera I'm dying to see more photos!lol. I'm going to save to visit Oz next winter so if you fancy going back.....! Take care, Mina xx
Dad
I'm sure the e-mails are more interesting!
Have noted thet you haven't given me Amy's message board address so that I can worry her parents as well.
Like the 'keyboard' excuse. I'lllll use it in the furter when mi spelin int thart goed.
Mum and I have just spent a week walking in Pembrokshire. Absoltely fabulous. Especially as the weather was at worst OK and much of the time good. My sparsely coverd skull is yet again peeling.
Met a Barrister who seemed to be doing what he wanted to do, not get into the rat race, working from home, picking and choosing which non advisorial case he wanted to advice on and held you 'solicitor' types as 2nd class citizens!
Mum suggested I became a little 'strong' as the evening progressed! Me!
Back to work on Monday. Somthing you guys will have to face, eventually, probably as we consider retirement!
Hope everthing continues to go well
Love
Dad

Sunshine, exotic locations, distant lands? Well, I'm just a jealous little boy, but it's good to hear that you're having a wonderful time. Keep it real, solid steel. Live the dream, be who you want to be, don't be boxed, be the box! And such and such...
Mum
good to hear from you. you sound to be having aqn amzing journey, no doubt some stories to tell too. just take care. hope the blended stomach jjourney isn't too bad. on to sydeny after that and rekative civilisation. miss you lotsa loive mumxxx
Dad
I enjoyed Amy's message. But he's not living here! Sadly I don't know her journal address. I'm sure I could cause her Mum and Dad mega stress if i did! I more than able to make thigs up, even if there is not even an element of truth!
I'm assuming the motorbikes are not BMW 1000cc and that you are by law required to wear full leathers and a 2006 style 'skid lid' to ride on these unlicenced, uninsured, bikes driven by local would be 'bikers'. On the assumption i'm wrong for god sake take care!
You seem to be having a great time and each of you e-mail/journal entries sends mum to her travel guides and the internet.
There is an increasing suggestion that we may try to follow in some of your footsteps next summer. So the more rat stories, transport 'blended' stories, rip offs etc the better. Please keep up the good reporting!
Love Dad
Amy
Dear Tasha
I hope you have told every one of your Cambodian friend 'Chris' who has taken quite a fancy for you! He would like to visit England but cannot unless he gets a marriage visa and I think he was pinning his hopes on our Tasha here!
Also please try and put a nice photo of me! I know they are rare but I won't make stupid face any more I promise!
Aimo! :)
Mina
Hi Tasha, glad you're having a great time. I am getting very tempted to up and leave the UK! Went back to Norwich over the weekend for Emma, Si and Mark's bdays. Lots of drama - but when isn't there when alcohol is involved?! (More drinks being thrown over people!) Still it was a good night, and saw Kate and Jess in the union. Wish I was still a student. Anyway, keep me updated with all the news.... Take care, and don't do anything I wouldn't do!!! Love Mina xxx
Dad
Pleased all is still going well, despite your current inability to retain what you eat! Soon we also have a holiday break. We're going to New Zealand .... no i mean Russia.. no I mean Wales! A week walking in the cold and damp of GB sounds so much better than anything you've got up to so far.
I am sad mum gets e-mails ([email protected]) and I do not. You should realise mum doesn't read them to me and being male cannot read them for myself !
Although my advice, as usual, proved to be sound. I'm looking forward to your next batch of photos.
See you soon
Dad
