The jounrey from Taupo to Napier took just 2 hours and was a stunning jounrey, really rurual, very mountanous and lots of sheep everywhere! A lovely wew guy called 'Wiki' from Taiwan was on my bus, and has been on nearly every bus I have had here in New Zealand so far and we were randonly booked into the same hostel. He is hilarious!! The bus from Rotorua to Taupo was just 1 hour so that was great. Arrived in Taupo Mon 19th around 2.30pm and by 3.30pm I was being picked up from my hostel to go sky diving?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I left the Bay of Islands area on Thursday 15th December, departing from Hahei. Thursday was a total wash out day, absolutely poured ALL day (yuk) so thankfully it was a travel/on the bus day so it didnt matter too much. The bus left Hahei and arrived in Tauranga at 4pm. So I left Paihia in the 'Bay of Islands' on Sunday 11th December and had a bit of an epic jounrey to Whitianga in the Coromandel area!!
