The island of Cimetero we saw on the way to Murano. One of the Vapperetto stops (the boat that is the equivalent of public transport in Venice) before we got to Murano was Cimetero and it looked like a giant walled in church from the outside. I said to Laura "I bet there is a cemetery there" and sure enough, there was. A giant cemetery. It made up the ENTIRE island. It was so beautiful and so interesting.
