So glad that it's all so amazing etc and loved the photos. Having some serious withdrawal symptoms from Sapa and Halong Bay was all you said it would be, and more. You must go back and do the kayaking...
Stay safe and have fun! Big Hi to Gary.
Lots of love,
Tom and Georgia

Hello,
Wow - you have gone off on an adventure! I emailed Mr K & he told me you were exploring, so I thought I'd drop you a little note to see how you were doing.
China sounds really great. I have just got back from travelling from 8 months (India, Sri Lanka, Borneo, Oz, NZ, S. America)- a truly incredible experience, so I hope you're having an equally fabulous time. Make sure you take plenty of photos to bore your family with!! I was a bit snap-happy and have a couple of thousand, I think (after editing....).
Take care and have loads of fun

Sarah's message made me laugh, obviously Watford Grammer is stuck in a time warp with HH & BB still patrolling the corridors!

After a rather precarious taxi drive, we are now in Shanghai and in the hostel that you recommended mum!! See I still need you all these miles away from home. (it was recommended to us in the last hostel we stayed in)... and dont worry, I have saved some money especially for the shopping here!!
all my love

Hi Naomi
Great to speak to you this morning, even at 7.00am! Now up and checking out Tiger Leaping Gorge - looked beautiful but challenging, not sure if I would be game for that - Dad would, naturally.
Shanghai looks great on the internet, I am sure it was be sintillating(spelling?) That is how is is described. They said take extra money as the shopping is fabulous!
They recommended staying at The Ming Tower Youth Hostel! in the BUND area! Maybe you will.
