We decided to take a bus trip into Nancy itself today.
The site we are on is outside the town itself, the bus took about 15 minutes to get us into the town centre.
We wandered about, found a few shops, then headed to Place Stanislas.
This is apparently listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
The square itself is surrounded by well maintained buildings/hotels. There are cafes all round the square also.
On all sides there are golden gates, or fountains giving the square a very opulent feel.
We found a lovely park to have lunch, then took a ride round the town on a tourist train.
We then went back to the park and discovered it not only had a lovely rose garden but also a zoo.
Yet again another gorgeous day weatherwise.
