Hi Jenni, Good to read that you're safely in Melbourne now - is it strange to be able to understand the native language after so long in Thailand? And the heat ? Mmmm - it's cold and damp here so yes the central heating is on.Can't imagine Christmas carols in such heat though - it doesn't seem right! We met your Mam and Dad and Freda and Ray for a meal on Friday evening at Wetherby which was looking very festive with pretty lights etc, as was the pub we dined in.

Great to see your trip is going well, so pleased you have found some mates along the way. Life here is dark and wet just as you would expect for November but the kids are getting giddy about christmas. They spend night after night with the Argos book and Jodi is practising for her first school play.
