Wow, the great barrier reef is everything that you would expect and more! It was amazing and very cartoon like as the fish/reef were so bright and multi coloured. There were huge electric blue and purple starfish too which were fab to see! We both went scuba diving, took a few minutes to get used to but we were soon well on our way. It was very odd not to talk to each other for a whole 30mins diving but we managed with sign language!

Oh...and by the way...we found Nemo! Literally! We have fab photos of us with the Nemo snuggling into the reef..they are really cute and just like in the film! In the afternoon we went to a tiny sand island in the middle of the sea for some hard earned sunbathing and snorkelling! Again, underwater didn't seem real..absolutely beautiful. It was such a fab day and just writing this makes us want to go back! Granted, both of us nearly fell over when we stood up with the oxygen tanks on our backs and climbing down the steps with our flippers wasn't easy but we soldiered on!

The water was absolutely crystal clear and the sun was shining..sorry guys we honestly did think of u all at work/in the rain!!
