So what have I been doing?
Busy enjoying Prague :)
I've always wanted to come to Prague & I guess I can cancel one item in my to-do list.
My itinerary was simple:-
1) Join the Free Prague Tour
2) Try some goulash
3) Check out Prague's view
The rest? Chill, drink & read a book.
Coming from Italy & Austria, everything here became so affordable. Seriously. Despite its currency is kroun instead of the euro, I'm baffled at how cheap things are here.
Like a proper sit down meal with a 0.5l beer, €8 max. In Italy, €8 means only a plate of measly spaghetti (not including cover charge of €1.50 to €2.50).
Probably that's why it is highly recommended to travel eastern Europe.
I met some interesting young people here. An American boy who is studying for a year in Germany & a Canadian girl who is travelling alone for the first time & super paranoid about everything.
She asks me things like, "why would people want to take your passport". You get the picture. I'm actually worried for her. Prague is her first destination & I hope she won't be too friendly or trusting to her new friends throughout her travel.
I think I'm such a daredevil. I walked in lonely areas for so many times today! Literally walked up to Petrin Hill because the tourist info said it's a nice walk. And I want to save on that €1 tram ticket. Hahahah. It's worth 0.5l beer, ok? It was quiet on the way up. But I survived.
Right now, I'm at this awesome small cafe trying out my first ever tartar steak. Mind you, this is a local hut. No foreigners & definately not a tourist cafe. Even the menu is all in Czech. I'm so proud of myself for walking... 20-30minutes to this place. This is probably the most non-tourist thing I have ever done. It's really good!
Only thing is, I'm alone & this area is pretty secluded. Trying to finish off my beer so I can go pee. Yes, I really need to! But I can't leave my beer halfway, go pee & continue drinking it right? What if someone spike my drink?
I'm in a foreign country. I'm afraid of bad things happening to me. Yes, even with Jesus protection, I shouldn't be making things happen right?
