The King is only a constitutional monarch but his picture is everywhere. In every home, house and roadside (as here). He is looked up to by all Thais. It is offensive to make rude and facesous remarks about him. Here he is trying to look the casual man with a hobby, photography. Unfrotuantely he still looks like he does in most of his pictures...as if he's looking for his wife's Christmas present in a department store.
