There are 752 Favelas (slums) in Rio of varrying size. The biggest holds over 100,000 people. They are built on Rios many hillsides all over the city, just look up at any time and you see one. This is the biggest, Rochina and it sits next to the richest district. On the left here is the favela and on the right are some buildings that form the richest school in Rio (4,000 pounds a month). They're on the same road immediately next to each other. FAvela and rich Rio lively cheek by jowl, closer than is credible, it changes in the blink of an eye.
