Bolivia has fought six wars with its neighbours, all five of them. It has lost every one of these wars. It is still particularly sore about losing its coastline to Chillie and is left only with an internal lake (LAke Titicacca) where it still sails a navy (!) as it believes one day it will get the coast back! This chap is Eduardo Avoura and he is THE hero of that coast war with Chilie. His heroics? He captained a war ship that was sunk by the Chilleans but he managed the feat of taking a few Chillean sailors with him!
