In Peru there seems to be rather a lot of armed police and private security guards for anything of value. This fella guards my hostel in Cuzco night and day. I think he´s private security but who knows! Check out his belt of bullets and the gun. Less ameniable to photogrpah requests were the guys who guard banks with pump action shot guns. Seriously.
