Colin and I have been here almost two weeks now. We had a four day weekend and were invited along for a road trip to Berlin. We thought, why not? Berlin taught us a few things. First...buy the right train ticket or it will cost you 40 euro fine. Take advantage of the free walking tour. We stood on top of Hilter's bunker which remains intact 13 meters under the ground. Visited the impressive Holocaust memorial and walked along remnants of the Berlin wall. We learned about what separated East from West Berlin, the struggles many families faced, and lives that were lost. To experience the night life of Berlin we did a pub crawl and met people from all over the world.
