This picture is Federer (in the red) against some guy from russia- Alexander Kudryavtsev, Federer won 3 sets to love winning his first match of many we hope. We watched him earlier practicing on the smaller courts which was really good. The Australian open is really good, it's right in the city so really easy to get to. Arrived in Melbourne today, staying with a relative here for the next 5 days. Its 5 star accomodation here at chez Helen, really nice house in the suburbs of Melbourne. We've booked into the tennis for tomorrow, watching Federer at a night match which Alan's really looking forward to. Xx

Sunrise at Uluru, a very early start for us and a little disappointing weather as it was quite overcast so didn't see much sunrise but got some cool pictures. This is our camel 'apollo' who took us on our sunset tour of ayers rock aka 'Uluru'. However it was quite cloudy and a little bit rainy so didn't see much of a sunset but really enjoyed our camel tour. Hopefully sunrise will be a little clearer in the morning, so an early start for us, being picked up at 4.45am!! Bed time I think! Xx
