We had a great time in marmaris as always although the start was a bit shaky! We arrived at 7am on 15th having left home at 7pm on 14th we were pretty tired, we flew with Onur Air-no Tvs, no food,no nothing so it wasnt the best flight and when we arrived we were so ready for bed! we couldnt check into our apartment until noon so we went to mums to sleep for a few hours, we were literally in bed 30 seconds when the whole building starting shaking including us! it lasted around 3 mins but felt like alot longer! we had to go straight to the boat as its safer to be away from buildings etc....most people were out in the street wonderşng what was going on-pretty scary-anyway we later found out from the news the whole turkish coast had been affected by an earthquake in Rhodes measuring 6.4.....what an experience! not one we wish to repeat!
anyway im pleased to say the rest of the stay was fun and hassle free (just the ususal dramas that are expected but nothing more) :)
we went on the boat most days, eat in the Taj mahal too many nights and had a whole lot of fun...sad to leave everyone especially mum :(
Next stop izmir...seeing oz parents...
Will update again soon...love Michelle
