Ive been in Iguazu for 4 days, where obviously the main attraction is the falls. As soon as I got of my 20 hour coach trip from BA, I met my first genuine Argetine (!) at the hostel and we went to the falls. It was pretty amazing, you could do a lower circuit, upper circuit (to see them), go on an island with lots of wildlife, go to the 'Devil's Throat' (the biggun), do lots of nature trails and see them from Paraguay or Brazil (which I didnt do, apparenty theyre not as good as the Argentine side, and it was a bit of a hassle getting there etc).
So the first day I did about half that stuff. I saw lots of birds and butterflys Id never seen, some big iguanas and even some crocodiles, which were amazing to see in the wild. The park wasnt too touristy really, I think maybe because that was on a Sunday when everything closes down. The Devils Throat was one of the most amazing things Ive ever seen, I took some pictures but its impossible to capture what its like on camera, they were just humongous, like watching an infinite avalanche that spans the whole distance of your eyes.
I went back there the second time I visited, but at the stage I hadnt worked out how to make videos on my camera, so I only have pictures. The videos I do have, I dont think I can upload onto the blog.
I dont have time now to write about the rest of my stay here, because Ill upload some pictures of the falls instead, and write the rest very soon.
