Hi hunny,
Another great set of photo's! Guess you are way too old for a telling off, but you sitting on the edge scared me stiff!!
Just loaded our holiday photo's to FB so you can see em. Absolutely brilliant island and I want to go back and live!! Now to plan where to go next....after York in a fortnight and Cornwall in three weeks!

Love the new photo's.....its brill to see you in them too! Did you hear that Luke has gone to Crealy to be Food and Bev Manager? Guess you will have, as news gets round fast, even when you are the other side of the world!! Sach McPhee was talking to George and she said she knew you. He was praising you as a real hard worker and talked about you going back there. Sach is off to China again for the summer, she flys tomorrow morning. Think she has a job teaching english, then home in Sept to start Uni. Meg breaks up today, am picking her up at lunchtime. She is coming home with a friend and is then off to a party tomorrow in Taunton and off to Ibiza next Wednesday. Garden is coming along great.....grass all up and stones down. Nick is in the middle of doing the decking, but the weather is holding him back. It will look amazing once its finished. I have seen some lovely garden furniture, but think it will need to wait till Spring. Hope to speak to you Sunday. Love and miss you like mad. Have fun with Jo and Josh xx
All Our Love Mum And Megs Xx
Hi hunny,
Saw your message on fb and don't know if i missed your call. Its been a busy week and I spent the first part of it recovering from the 70 miles we cycled on Sunday. Meg is home this weekend and we have had a quiet day today. We have booked to go to Ibiza in July. Meg for a fortnight (first week with Hannah, Alex and Kirsty) and second with me. We are really looking forward to it. The Pyrennees will be amazing, but it will be full on, as we will be cycling 40-70 miles a day for 8 days. So a week sunbathing in ibiza will be a treat.
How are things with you? Whats the news on Josh? Hope the job is going well and you are managing to save some money.
Look forward to catching up shortly. Love and miss you like mad.
Mum
Hi hunny,
Thank you so much for ringing today, it was great to hear how things are going. Fingers crossed your money will go in tomorrow, lt me know if it doesn't and I will chase the bank.
It was fab coming home this afternoon to the wonderful flowers, chocolates and balloon - you really shouldn't be spending your money on me. But thank you, I will keep the card always (soppy but mums are) and the flowers are gorgeous.
Let me know if the job comes off - I will keep everything crossed for you.
I love you and miss you so much. Speak soon

Question: When is a blog not a blog?
Answer: When it's Sam's blog!
Any suggestion that Sam went to Oz under cover for MI5 and that he would be posting coded blogs to uncover those damned Republicans can now be dismissed.
Any of you others that have been watching this message board in anticipation of reading more of my witty messages to Sam are gonna be disappointed 'cause this is my last posting. Am now in touch with Sam via other social media.
Just to sign off - in case you missed the scores - Man U and Man C both lost tonight.
Looking ahead - Leeds away to Middlesborough on Sunday. Ouch!!
I will leave you all with the words of Sgt. Phil Esterhaus -' Let's be careful out there'
(If you don't understand the last bit - ask your parents!)
xx

Hi hunny,
It was lovely talking to you the other night and I am delighted to hear you are off to Sydney. Did you get Glen's flat?
I had a fabulous weekend. Dinner out on Friday and a long cycle Saturday morning followed by coffee in Spoken with the girls in the afternoon. On Sunday Nick and I drove down to Bodmin and cycled the Camel trail to Padstow. A little chilly out of the sun, but it was lovely drinking wine in the harbour with rugs over our knees like a pair of pensioners!! Fish and chips soaked up the wine and luckily no headwind on the way back to the car!! It is "mistresses" tonight, with the eight of us at Sam's for drinks. Work is good but still very busy. I have my 6 month review on Thursday but luckily no worries there! Cassie is now an offical Avon lady...just need a little pink coat for her, but she comes with me most days and stays in the car whilst I do my appointments!!
Anyway, look after yourself. Hi to Josh and speak soon xx

Hi hunny,
Meg sends her love and is missing you!! She hoped you would ring Sat, but luckily was distracted by having Hannah home, buckets of popcorn and a huge pile of DVD's! I said I am sure you will ring and catch her either at mine or dad's soon.
Weather over there doesn't look too good - hopefully just a blip! We had a stunningly gorgeous weekend. We cycled (as per) on Saturday and covered 40 miles, including a hill called East Hill Stripe past Ottery St Mary. I have always had to get off a third of the way up as it is so steep, but with the help and encouragement (bullying)of one of the more experienced guys bill, I made it to the top. Felt like I was about to be sick, but it was the most amazing feeling and i know I am not going to show myself up in the Pyrennees now!!
Yesterday Meg, Hannah, Cas and I had a lovely walk on Exmouth beach. Everyone was out in the sunshine and it didn't feel like February. We then went into Exeter and they had a wander before i dropped them back at school. Meg is hopefully going to Ibiza in the summer with them again - that girl has the luck of the irish when it comes to holidays!
Well talk to you soon and post some more photo's of you and Josh!! I like to see you hunny :-)
Lots of love and hugs,
Mum and Megs xx
Woof from Cas and Oz says when is his fighting mate coming home xx

Well Sam, I guess the team and Mr Warnock will be at the hotel in Portsmouth now ready for tomorrow's game. I thought Wolves would get Warnock in place of Big Mick but they've made a right hash of things since they sacked him. They've been turned down by every manager they've interviewed and have announced today they are 'promoting' Terry Connor, the assistant to the last 4 managers(!). What a farce. As to Mr Warnock - well on paper his record is pretty impressive and he does seem to have mellowed a bit recently (and forgotten sarcastic comments he made about Leeds when they were relegated). Can't see them losing tomorrow, Portsmouth are in a bit of a mess. But then so are Wigan - Villa away there tomorrow and I don't think we'll be coming back with even a point.
Nice to see Grayson has the Huddersfield job but still can't understand why they sacked Lee Clark.
I've entered a competition to win tickets for EnglandvIreland 6 nations game in March. Had to buy some cans of Guiness to enter but best before date is Dec 2013 so won't drink them, will leave them in the garage in case you're back before then. Can you believe the date of the match is 17th - St Patrick's Day. The Irish are gonna be well up for that one!
James and George love your 'phone calls. They tell me all your news when I speak to them. Just one thing, I could cope with George having a koala for a pet but maybe you could re-think the rather large spider that you've promised James! I've already told him you wouldn't get it through customs anyway.
They are all up here at the end of March (Megs too), a christening. Clair is to be godmother (heaven help the child!). It also co-incides with Barry's 70th birthday so we're all out for a curry and a few pints. The plan is that they then go to visit Lord and Lady York for a few days - drop James and Georgia here on the way back, then we go down to them after Easter.
Now then Sam - about these photos. Although they are lovely do you not think that taking over 450 within 2 weeks is a bit OTT? Did you manage to watch any of the rugby match? Did anyone score a try? Who won? Perhaps post a blog with the match report and just a few pics :) Are you ever going to post a blog?
As anyone will tell you, I'm not a photo person. Don't even have a camera these days and you know how good I am with my 'phone and apps! Can you believe when me 'n' Barry did Toronto, Niagara and New York I only took 30 photos and 6 of those were of New York firemen 'attending a scene'. They were very good looking firemen though with very big hoses!!
Hey it's wine o'clock :) Take care xx
Mum
Hi hunny,
Lovely to catch up with you last night (or this morning in your case)!! The Zoo photo's are fab, love your photography! Puts my recent efforts to shame. You and Josh are looking tanned and well. Speak to you again soon and love you loads. xx
Grandma And Grandad Mort
Hi Sam, A catch up from Skelton. Firstly, so sorry that I was out when you phoned on my birthday but Grandma passed on your good wishes. We went out to Jumbos for the birthday lunch and then to Valeries Pattiserie. You may not know this place but it a tea rooms that serves enormous cream cakes. We have changed our car for a Ford Focus 1.6. The poor old Astra was beginning to give us problems, e.g. alternator not working to charge the battery which affected to power steering so rather than spend out lots of cash, we decided to change it. We shall miss it because as you know we had it a long time and you had several driving lessons in it. We had been down to the South West several times which in no small way contributed to the high mileage of 104,000 miles. We have been across to Kates to stay and look after the dogs whilst she and Harry went down to Devon. They are looking at a barn conversion and a small business down there. The house in Millington is up for sale so heres hoping. We drove there via Pock schools main entrance just for old times sake. Simon and the delightful Lauren are to be married on May 4th next year in the Chapel at the Royal Naval College which will be wonderful. I understand that you are to be included in the invitation to the Mortimers Chivenor chapter dependant on your whereabouts at that time . He is due to leave on a 9 month tour of duty at sea in the near future but we dont know any details as yet but there again, why should the Royal Navy keep his Grandparents in the picture? Great to see that you have appeared in the latest batch of photograpohs. Looking good. Thats it for now Sam. Continue to make the most of everything. Lots of love from us. XX
Mum
Hi Sam,
Hope things going well and you are still enjoying the sunshine. Love the new photos. I have just got back from a mammouth ride - 45 miles today to Dawlish and a hill in the middle like a wall!! But I managed it!! Just got to find the enthusiasm and energy to take cassie out now. Robyn and Luke say Hi. Roybn is missing you. They were short staffed last night with Ryan and Phil both off sick and several newbies who were a bit slow!
