A whole shop done up like a pizza hut ice cream factory. Lots of flavours, lots of toppings. Seemed like a brilliant idea until we finished making it and ate it. Now back at the hostel feeling a little sick.

Made it to Brasov this afternoon on the train. Walked in to discover another medieval city with quaint streets but lots of modern shops and westernised bars thrown in. Very odd place. There is however a great big mountain with it's own cable car and Holywood style sign. Today we made it to Sighisoara famous for being the birthplace of Vlad the impaler, now known as Dracula. The old part of town was medieval and had really charming little streets and houses. I'm the evening we had dinner in the square and watched a group of people from the museum (we presume) demonstrate medieval weapons, fighting and dancing. It was very odd but also rather amusing. Lake Bicaz - situated in beautiful forests with mountain views in the distance. There are quaint log cabins to stay in or you could try the floating hotel, with restaurants on the lakeside where you can look out and watch the sun set as you dine. We arrive thinking this would be a good place to stay on route to Sighisoara then promptly turned round and left again. As we drove out we were chased off by two dogs.

Today we managed to scrounge another lift to take us to Sighisoara. We took a very scenic route travelling through the hills in Bocovnia and stopping at a few monasteries and a village full of nuns. It's been very nice to be able to see areas we wouldn't have otherwise had the chance to and have some company for a little while. Just stopped for a coffee in a crazy town.
