Day 82 We arrived in Buenos Aires airport at 730am and jumped into a taxi. We arrived at our hostel in the middle of the city, in a suburb called San Telmo. The hostel was large and very modern, wifi, common rooms with flatscreens and a reasonable kitchen. We were shown to our shared dorm room, which had 4 beds in 2 sets of bunk beds. Day 40 We jumped on the coach and embarked on a 10 hour mini bus journey to the Laos/Vietnamese border. Still feeling bunged up, the journey wasn't great, but it had to be done. Day 28 Our bloody alarm didn't go off, and so at 730am, we heard a banging on our door…..it was the tour guide. He was wondering where we were, we jumped up in a panic and grabbed all our clothes and belongings, and stuffed them into our bags. We were very late….the bus was meant to leave at 730am. Day 22 After a long bus journey we arrived at the Cambodian border and crossed the land crossing. A land crossing is a strange experience, as there is an area of land in between the two countries, which is no mans land. Gambling is illegal in Cambodia and Thailand, and so as you walk through the 700m of no mans land towards Cambodia, there are hundreds of massive casinos. It's a crazy experience, it has a lawless feel to it, as there aren't any police or council...

Day 5-7Flew from Beijing to shanghai, then to Bangkok, and then straight onto Phuket. Phuket is a little island off the coast of Thailand. We spent a day and 2 nights in Phuket, I had stayed there before and didn't think it was as good as the smaller islands, and so only wanted to spend 2 nights there.
