The main chapel, rebuilt within the Mannerist style, is one of the most exquisite pieces of architecture to be found in Antequera. Of rectangular ground plan and covered by a Gothic vault, its main point of interest is its decorative plasterwork, painted and gilded by Francisco Rodrîguez de Alarcón. The inlaid canvases depicting the life of San Agustîn that adorn it help to create a space of great balance and beauty.
