Chapel of San Torquato. the patron saint of Guadix. It was made by Gaspar Cayón in 1728, in whose niche there was a sculpture of Torcuato , which has disappeared since the Spanish Civil War. Tradition makes him a Christian missionary of the 1st centuryHe evangelized the town of Acci, identified as Guadix, and became its first bishop.
