Museo Convento De Santo Domingo El Antiguo
beautiful museum in what was once the church of the Santo Domingo convent.originated in the 6th century during the Visigothic period. Alfonso VI refounded it in the 11th century, and María de Silva (a lady-in-waiting to Empress Isabella of Portugal) promoted the construction of the current church and gave it its present appearance in the 16th century. The nuns who live in the convent sell delicious sweets such as marzipan, a signature candy of Toledo.
