the Festival of the Courtyards (“Patios”) of Cordoba (declared World Heritage) occurs in May each year and for 2024 a week before I arrived. It is possible to visit the courtyards in Córdoba all the year round, and visiting outside the Festival dates is arguably a better time, without the huge crowds and long queues.
