Hi guys !! today is our last day in bangkok we have spent two nights here now and today we move on to ko samui, we are getting a night train with bunk beds in, thena ferry too ko samui. We have been to the grand palace today which was amazing! ands yesterday we went round bangkok on a tuk tuk although it was cheap and we got to see alot i actually thought this might be when we die!! We met up with johnny n lisa n went out for a drink or 14, we had a gd time and it was nice to see familar faces from home and look forward to meeting them again soon, we got a few helpful tips from johnny too which is always good!! Bangkok is a scary place to be but Its got a good vibe and parts of it are incredible. Although the noise and pollution can be nasty its a good place and an altogether new experience!! They have loads of photos of the king every where but sorry gary we havent seen any tanks .. but we are trying to upload some photos now. The last few days in South Africa were spent between lazing about and trying to fit last minute trips in! The weather was a bit disappointing as it restricted us in what we can do but never mind! On our last day we went to Robben Island which I would recommend to anyone as it was a great insight into South African history as well as understanding the history of a certain Mr Nelson Mandela. Zoes favourite place was table mountain which again was brilliant and the 1st mountain weve been up although we cable carted it both ways haha!
