Made it to Chicago by 2 pm...drove around underground on right steer, wrong level,for about 45 minutes because Sally lost signal...used our orienteering skills and finally found club quarters, a cute room...excellent location! Deep dish pizza at dues...established in 1955... after unos recommended by two Italian sympatico elderly gentlemen. Got a deal on camera card... Garrett popcorn...people very nice. Setting off for Minnesota.one day closer to our first dest...

A bit of nerves....a few things myteriously disappear...now found...once on the road, I'm sure we'll be fine! there'll be no turning back. First Stop...hopefully , insha allah...Chicago. Love to all.

The start of the of the summer holiday and a new adventure! Norm and I both finished work for now and we can't wait to drive out west to see Matthew and Amanda in Edmonton and the continue South West towards San Francsico to visit Dale, Matt W., Kingston and Isla.
