Well its been over a month since the idea first struck me to backpack across europe, being a bit drunk and never backpacked before things havnt really improved since there...

it all started when i recieved an invite to a friends leaving party, apparently she was off to Kos, Greece to work for three months. so there we were, all enjoying our friends farewell party when i suggested we all try some flaming sambuccas (this may have been the beginning of a downward spiral). from then on its all a little blurry appart from the odd flashback and embarrasing pictures on facebook.

Somehow i managed to make it home, as i woke up in my own bed, fully clothed, still drunk, with the realisation that i had signed up for overtime that very morning! Running from the house without any memory of the night before no time for a shower and with 2 minutes to catch the train, i reached into my pocket for my mobile but what i pulled out was the battery. yes, my mobile was missing but i still had the battery. (was i really that drunk?)

After my 2 hours of overtime (in the hell hole that is 118 118 directory assistance) which was made more difficult trying to avoid management and all naked flames, (i was still slurring) i had to pick up the keys to a pub i was meant to be the caretaker of. i had no idea where it was, or what it was called. and without my mobile these simple tasks of finding out were made impossible.

With a bit of drunken persistence, and hopeless wandering, i finally found my mates motorbike parked outside of one of the biggest pubs iv ever seen. after he gave me the tour (took over half an hour) and handed over the keys, i realised that for the next two weeks i had the run of this pub! (and what a fantastic two weeks they were)

Working all of the overtime i could get, i started selling all of my valuables, my xbox, my mixing decks... out of it all, selling my motorbike was the hardest. during all of this, my ipod decided to go walkies somewhere on top of a mountain and has yet to return. with my mobile, and ipod both missing i realised i didnt know what to do
