Today I went to the Musée D'orsay which is a museum/ art gallery with a lot of cool sculptures and heaps of different paintings. But before actually going in to the museum I got a bruscetta and chocolate croissant from this little café and then ate it on the bank of the Seinne, so that was nice. Today I went with Anaëlle in to the heart of Paris and saw the outside of the Louvre (we're going to go back and do it all later), Notre-Dame cathedral and then went to the Eiffel Tower. Today, after spending the morning playing piano and working on a new song and going on skype, I somehow figured out how to use the Paris subway to get to the Champs Èlysées and I had a good walk along there all the way up to the Arc de Triomphe and then back. I'm just chilling in a French cafe just in town near Anaëlle's place. Trying to speak French has been interesting, but I've worked out how to ask "do you speak English" in French and luckily everyone I've asked so far has been able to. I had quite a long flight yesterday, it was 12 hours but I managed to sleep for most of it but I'm still really tired because of the jet lag. And the second flight through zurich was ok as well.
