Just outside of Hotan, along the southern silk road. No wonder the desert has so many ruins. Rivers flood and move around, and I just cleaned about 1/2 a teaspoon of dust out of my ears while thinking of what to write. You can see the haze of sand and dust in the air, the highways are lined by artificial sand baffles to stop the dunes from swallowing it.
