This is a shot of my first prototype to make a blinking eye mechanism. It was for a project with a filmmaker, who is creating a short film that uses realistic frog puppets. I had the job of figuring out how to create a small frog puppet that could breathe and blink. The photo shows my first attempt at the blinking bit - I used wire, a snail shell, gaffer tape and scissors.
