On Friday 13th February, Kat and I took a day trip to the beautiful city of York, in the heart of Yorkshire. The weather couldn't have been more perfect - although it had snowed the day before, it was sunny and clear (and not too cold). We each bought York day passes (which got us into museums and other attractions for free) and were ready for a day of sightseeing. This picture shows the first place we visited: York Minster. It is the largest Medieval Gothic cathedral north of the Alps and a treasure house of 800 years of stained glass.
