Several hours (and an afternoon nap) after our Yum-Cha feast, my family decided to have a 'small' dinner of Japanese steamboat (or 'nabe', which means 'pot'). We boil some stock in a large ceramic pot and throw in serveral vegetables (e.g. Chinese cabbage and mushrooms) as well as chicken, tofu, fish cakes, wonton dumplings and noodles. Deeeelish.
