Time to Move On From Camp
Pittsford, Vermont
Hi Everyone,
So here is the first offical blog entry of my offical blog. Some of you may have heard of me from such blogs as Miss Bayne and Monkey Travel the World. But now you lucky people get the exclusive more indepth blog....Mini Baynseys Great Adventure!
So it is my last full day at camp. It has been different yet again as I have had 3 weeks of actual camp complete with campers and 2 weeks of chilled out quiet camp which is a rare experience to behold (if you can behold an experience...they may just be sight you can behold)
Camp its self was fun packed with a few more stressful moments than normal but that makes all the highs seem so much...well...higher. I arrived at the end fo July after driving up with a previous co-counselor, Will. The welcome was great as always and the new staff were unbelievable friendly and honestly some of the nicet people I have ever met! So lots of new friends there and a camp gatherin is already arranged for May nextyear in Scotland.
The highlight of the summer for me has to be Harry Potter Day! I was MacGongall, and I had to sort all of camp in to houses. Once sorted the campers had to complete Harry Potter related tasks e.g. potions puzzles, saving people from the merpeople in the pond, quidditch matches. Once the tasks were complete the group received a clue to finding the horcruxes which they would deliver to Harry Potter (portrayed by a very convincing Talon) who could go on to distroy Voldermort. The game was then followed by a banquet in our "Great Hall" dining room. The campers seemed to love it and us Harry Potter fans on the staff finally got the day we have been nagging for for years!
The campers were gone unbelievably quickly and then there were lots of "See you laters", as we don't like to say goodbye, to all the staff who steadily left the days following.
It's no been two weeks which I have no idea how I have filled, but I have with such things as sailing, girlys days out with Karen, cooking dinner, movies and general chilling out at the pond. And more of the time it has been gorgeous sunshine, today is especially hot and I may have to go for my last dip before I leave. And I suppose I better pack too.
Tomorrow I am often to Boston to see a friend and then Cape Cod after that. I hope everyone is well and I will try and upload some photos soon.
Peace out! Amy

Ame Just noticed the really poor spelling, grammar and typing errors. Hopefully you can get the message through all of that! Thank you for the early birthday wishes :) xxx
