Everyone was exhausted yesterday. The usual happens, frustration b/c the lack of all the supplies, equipments that we used to in the states. It'll take a few more days then we'll get used to this mode of operation.
Up before 5 am, strange, thought I'd have slept more.
We went to a closer site, busier than yesterday. As usual, some are very appreciative but can't talk b/c they've just got their teeth pulled, so they squeeze my hand hard. Some think what we gave out is too little, wasting their time.
One old lady thank us for coming so she said thank to Buddha and heaven, so I corrected her to thank God instead
One lady asked if she'll get something for wearing the gospel bracelet. So I got to explain that to her
Pharmacy finished before dental today, a new history
On our way to ER to bring a chest pain patient there
Picture above: a patient with black dyed teeth. I smile at her and she proudly claim that her teeth are strong b/c of the dye, chewing bone, no problem. Mine she said too white and ugly (that's a first) so we take picture to compare
Prayer:
-For the team unity: this split into 2 teams may be good, but it also potentially cause friction when one team finish before the other.
-For the leaders to be flexible and understanding
-For new strength, patience and joy so we can continue to serve w/ joy
-For the patients we're caring for will get to know Christ si they won't just get healed physically but also spiritually
