Hervey Bay & Fraser Island... So we arrive in Hervey Bay on the 30th of January for one night before the big 3 days on Fraser Island...! We went to a meeting that evening then it was off to bed to get a good nights sleep....!!! 5.30 the next morning it was up, packed, loaded the 4x4 and off we went... We boarded the ferry from River Heads over the the Creek landing point and it was all rock n roll from there...!Off road was an understatement...! We set off ...

Well we just left Brisbane a couple of hours ago and hopped on the Greyhound to Noosa... Weather here is lovely, its definently getting hotter the further north we're going.... humidity in Cairns in this rate is going to be mental...! We took a walk down the parade of shops only to find it being the home to Hugo Boss, Versace, Pearls for Girls and a number of other mentally expensive shops....! I decided to rename it... its now called AntonyVille, Queenslan...

Surfers Paradise.... So we arrive in Surfers Paradise on the 18th…. We got the Greyhound bus from Byron to here, its only a 2 and a bit hour trip and for $20 you can’t go wrong…!We checked into our hostel which to be honest isn’t the best hostel in the world, but hey…. it could be a lot worse…Again we managed to secure ourselves our own little dorm which is always handy…! Haven’t got to worry about any one else...

Well We left Surfers Paradise and rocked up in Brisbane...! Not an awful lot going on here to be totally honest, its another city....! We stayed in a place called Bunk Backpackers which was a cool little number... big funky hostel with loads going on...! We hired a car from the local Eurocar and headed towards the infamous Australia Zoo. We got to the zoo about 10 in the morning after getting up early and making our way down Steve Irwin Highway.... and finall...

Byron Bay So we arrived in Byron Bay… the boys decided to get the bus, me Kelly and Leila caught a flight for $2 more…!! Makes perfect sense to me…!!So we get to our first hostel called the Cape Byron YHA… The rest of the mob turned up just an hour or so before us so they already had the place ready and waiting when we got there…! Chris and the Dragon were there too… there were now 9 of us….!! Nearly enough people ...
