Well what can I say? Pity Louis isn't at school. Don't suppose there are many people in his class who have sat astride a sleeping tiger!! What a fabulous thing to remember.
Thanks so much for getting in touch earlier. It can't always be easy taking the time to phone people and keep the blog up to date as well.
You all look great. We wont know you by the time you get to NZ you will all be so brown. I'm dead jealous.
Lots of love - speak to you all soon. xx xx xx xx

Auntie Rita And Ian
Hi,
Here I am at last just catching up with what is happening with you all. I must say it makes exciting reading (I thought I would just nip in to have a quick look at what you had been doing whilst drinking my morning cup of tea but had to carry on with reading the whole story. I really am impressed that you know so much and can even spell all the names of the places you have been and the contacts you have made. Everything sounds so cheap maybe we should look at some of the places you have visited for our retirement. I have been away in Sweden working over the holiday. 12 hour days driving through forests admiring the lakes, wlking through sawmills in the rain and waiting in Airports made us think about your journey - however you make it all sound much better than I felt whilst sitting in the airport waiting for our plane home. Good to hear that David has made contact - we have heard nothing from him yet - but no doubt he is still suffering from jet lag and alcohol poisoning. His little going away part went down well. We were all sitting in the garden in the pouring rain with the chemine keeping us warm and a tarpaulin over us to keep us dry. Maybe the drinks helped but there were no complaints about the food or the weather. The party started at 5 home about 4 a.m. The clearing up was easy - all disposable glasses and plates. Susan, Emma and Shaun vistied the blog and were most impressed. Maybe Shaun will write and tell you a bit about the football last night - Our Ian took him out for a Chinese -Liverpool won (of course) so they will have been in high spirits. Well my tea is cold now so better get some work done. Have agreat time - take care. Lots of love from us. xx

Mum & Dad
Hi Gang just got back from our break and couldn't wait to check up on your blog. Glad everything is still going well. The photos are great.Hope they have foot massages in NZ as he kids seem to be getting hooked!
Thanks for the good wishes for our Anniversary. We had a great time.Got to London on Wednesday afternoon - raining!! Just our luck the weather was great at home.Thought we would take your lead and be a bit adventurous so we went to Yo Sushi for our evening meal.We really enjoyed it although I played it safe but your dad did have some raw tuna which he said was delicious.Thursday - raining again so we had a walk along the Thames and couldn't help thinking of Louis as they had a Starwars Exhibition on but at £16 each to go in we didn't bother as neither of us know anything about Starwars but we did take a photo of the Storm Troupers on top of the building and will email them to you for Louis tomorrow. The Stones were great. They may be getting on a bit now (Mike Jagger is 64!!!) but they can still get the crowd going and judging by the energy they have I think I should have plied myself with drugs and alcohol all my life as well.Still as ugly as sin though!! (No not me them!!)On our way to Bath we called Bristol. It was lovely and sunny there and we took a boat trip and had our lunch by the river. Then on to Bath.Hotel was good and we went on a comedy walk in the evening which was a laugh. Also went to the Spa baths which is really nice. The water is straight from the spring and it has to be cooled as it so hot when it comes through. There was an indoor pool which had currents and you just floated around and a roof top pool as well which was lovely as it was going dark and you could see the moon coming up and all the spires of the buildings were lit up.Dad and I were laughing in one of the shops. We both saw mugs and instantly thought of you Mike. The one I saw said "Don't rush me I'm waiting till the last minute"and the one your dad saw said "I'm destined for greatness but I'm pacing myself"- Enough said!!!Hope you enjoyed your little treats - thought the kids might like the lollypops (or did you eat them Mike) and so relieved that the cards actually arrived.Glad you eventually got the Liverpool kit that you were hoping to get in China - Dad said were the Everton kits £3!!You sound like you are having a fabulous time and we are so pleased that you are taking the time out to do the blogs. It means a lot to us all here at home.Miss you all lots but wouldn't want you missing out on this adventure.Keep enjoying yourselves.Stay safe.Lots of love Mum + Dad.Big hugs and kisses for Louis & Daisy XXXXXX
