Left Singapore 1.50am . Flight was good, we both managed to get a few hours sleep. Arrived Istanbul at 7.30 am Turkish time (10 hour flight). The driver for our transfer introduced himself as Genghis Khan and then proceeded to assure us he was not a terrorist and we were safe! Funny man. Drive to the hotel was eventful, some streets are no wider than our footpaths but they still seem to get cars and buses and trams along them albeit with a fair degree of the use...

Home at last with our puppy and apart from Glenn having a sinus infection.... All is right in my world. Fantastic holiday...... Now where to next???

Today is our last day in Singapore. We fly out this evening at 8.45pm arriving in Melbourne at 6am Wednesday morning. We have a 4pm checkout from our hotel which is excellent (thanks Michelle) so we have a full day to get out and about and get packed. It's pouring again but we have decided to get across to Sentosa Island for a look as we have been told a bit about it.
