I visited the Giant's causeway today and also crossed the old rope bridge nearby. The causeway was unlike anything I've ever seen before! The drive down to Cork was a long one (pretty much spanning the length of the country)! It took a lot longer than I expected and just after Dublin my car's undercarriage started dragging! On my way up to Ballygally I stopped in Drumcliff to see a round tower and visit the grave of Yeats. My plan was to then go to slieve league and giant's causeway but I underestimated just how long it takes to get places. It took me forever just to get to Ballygally. Just to clarify, no I didn't see any ghosts in the castle! It was beautiful and I had a great night's sleep!

The picture is of Trim castle in Trim, Ireland. I took a little detour on my way to Sligo from Dublin. I stayed in a little hostel on the outskirts of Sligo called arrow rock on the edge of a lake. The next morning I hiked to some old burial mounds. On my hike I got just a little lost and managed to fall twice (naturally I landed both times in mud)!
