Time slows down at nangakot. No electricity, hot water is precious, but a 120 degree view of the himalaya is worthless.
Visited patan in the morning. This time without a guide so much more distanced. Temples looked more 繁复.the museum was very informative and I could easily spent hours there. Seem to understand the Hindu gods better despite only remember their Chinese names. Shame that their gift shop only sells product on the street, no pamphlets on their collection and attempted to look for books in bookshop but didn't find any.
Most interesting is the photo and water colour done by early explorers in the 1900. Streets, buildings and people looked exactly the same to today. That would be the most unreliable thing from a Chinese perspective. Wish I could find something about that era's English explorer.
(have to go now)
