Have now left Queensland and entered into New South Wales. First stop Byron Bay.... Byron Bay is a very hippy town.. I am staying in a cabin while here which is cool. I even have a sofa and a tele! When arriving I took a wonder around the town then got in contact with Ella and Hannah - Two of the girls I met in Africa who are travelling up the East Coast. They were staying in Byron Bay just around the corner from me. So left the group and met up with them for a mental night out in Cheeky Monkeys - which finished around 4am after much crazy antics and alot of spewing! The next day I surfaced around 12 noon and realised I was in their hostel (not the first time this has happened) and not my lovely cabin - feeling super rough! The rest of the day was spent on the beach sleeping. After dinner I popped in to say bye to the girls, played some cards with the group and had a much needed early night! Which was handy as I had a 4 o clock start to make it to Sydney the following day.
Again I did not make the most of the area - some of the group went surfing, some did a sky dive, and some did a Dolphin Kayak!! I spent most of my time drinking on in bed...... but it was good to meet up with the girls again and last night was one of the best nights out since coming away!
I will def be re-visitng Byron Bay!
Next stop Sydney - where the tour ends and I am on my lonesome for the next 8 days!
