Hi Mel & Gem.
Looks great and warm but not as warm as here, we are having record breaking heatwave, I have had enough now! I have finally got my car back from repairers, 19 weeks in total, but it goes like a dream. News from work is 10 redundancies here across the board. Amelia has gone and Daph as well, the rest from the other side, Dave Burton and workforce, such a shame esp about Daph, but I think she was glad really, still we keep in touch. Sandra is back in Sept, Lisa gets married too, and Martyn, myself and parents are off the Cornwall, all the same month. A busy Sept. The time is really flying by, there must be some point at which you feel homesick or perhaps it is too enjoyable to thinks about coming back. Anyway you both take care, and keep sending the pics.
Love Lizzie

Hi Mel and Gemma
How are you after all the hardwork. Have all your clothes worn out yet? Still very hot here - can't say I am getting used to it.
Mum is having a good time in France - relaxing and reading etc.
We are taking Nan home today - she is fine we went shopping and got her some new tops. Children are fine now after tummy bugs.

*CHICO UPDATE*
After £906 worth of tests the nut case that is Chico has been confirmed as not having Cancer. He has a growth though up his nose that is destroying his bone but it should be fixable with a course of steriods, antibiotics etc. I'm just worried he might end up looking like Michael Jackson!
Katie And John
Dear Mel and Gemma I thought I would write you a message as it is too hot to do anything else, as you know Mel I never sit still for a minute (just like your mum) but today we are having one of the hottest days on record which is pretty draining. The boys arrived home today from their hols exhausted, it will take them another fortnight to get over it.Still they had a good time which is the main thing.
Thankyou by the way for chico's card we did laugh, we are currently waiting for some test results for him . The vet sent him to a specialist in Essex, I took him there on Monday and had to leave him over night which I hated. Now are you sitting down ?
The bill came to, wait for it £906.36 John and I could not believe it I just hope they can get to the bottom of the problem.
We are so glad you are having such a great time, Paul phoned just now and said to say Hi it's his birthday on Sunday so I shall buy him a cake and cook him his favourite roast, remember to look out for a nice lady for him on your travels!!!
Love Katie and John xx

Hi Girls
Have you started the harvesting yet? The website is very informative. Your poor shoes if it rains! or is that where they water the produce? Your backs won't know whats hit them. I was talking to a guy at tha Kent show today, he did what your doing a few years ago and said the tomatoes were a good bet and quiet decent money! He went travling with his brother and he stayed on in Cairns to live and never came back! His Mum has a thing about snakes and has never been to visit Australia how strange! We are all fine, looking forward to a break! Take care lots of love Mum and Dad
Brenda
Hi Melissa You make me feel tired with all this rushing about. Sounds as if the scenery is great. Glad you are find some nice friends.
We have just had a first (almost a week) of babysitting as Ellie went back to work for 3 nights. She really enjoyed herself and we survived. Imogen is grabbing everything in site and nearly had her dinner on the floor whilst I was strapping her in her chair. Levi is having a few Terrible 2 moments but is still lovely. I am tired now but it was fun. We were at music class this morning and Imogen was clapping her hands to the music and Levi was up front taking part as if he was the teacher.
Nan seems ok - saw her on Sunday. Weather here has been very humid - Geoff felt rather unwell because of it but it is cooler now.
Take care and hope you find some work.
Lots of love Brenda and Geoff
Kathy

We are really enjoying playing in the new kitchen , desiding where things should go! We went to Ikea yesterday and got back at 11 pm quiet a marathon. Nans been round today for a hair cut . Hoping the weather holds out for the weekend as I have the second sleepover 82 kids on this one , won't it be great when it's over, only the Kent show and then going on our hols. Keep in touch Lots of love Kathy

Well you two were sadly missed last night at Nic's party but she was really pleased that you phoned and she seemed to have a lovely time. Lewis was a star. Plan to hire him to organise all my forthcoming parties haha!
Had a good chat with your Mum and Dad Mel and we agreed that although we miss you both sooooo much it really helps to keep track with the pictures and msgs. It was really good to see your Mum and Dad...we compared notes and think you're both looking so well! (It's a Mum thing!).
