The lower three flights of steps lead up to the temple terrace. Above them begin the steps through ten levels usually divided into three groups: Two levels of Kamadhatu (the world of desire), five of Rupadhatu (world f forms) and Arupadhatu (the real of formlessness). The top levels are not visible here, except for the crowning stupa.
