Headed off up the road to Coober Pedy today. Just a lazy 6.5 hour drive!! Kids travelled well - Thanks Kaz for the lollipops, they got us through the middle of the drive! Stopped at Pimba for fuel and Glendambo for lunch. Unfortunately the pub couldn't serve us any food as the supply truck had broken down yesterday. Had a bit of trouble pegging down the tent as the ground is all rock, so we are all bunked in the main part of the tent - very cosy.

Today we were out and about...after 9:00. We went to the Wadlata Outback Center. It is a museum about the Australian Outback. It takes you from 15 million yers ago up to today. It told us about aboriginal stories. Then slowly we got to European Settlement. It took us about 2 hours to get through the whole museum because there was alot to read an watch. Me, Dad and Paddy went fishing off the jetty with no luck although I did get a squid on my hook at one poin...

Today we woke up had breakfast and packed up in the rain. After that we hit the road for another day of driving. It took around 5 hours to get to Port Augusta with a stop for lunch at Burra. When we arived we set up, then went for a drive to the supermarket. By Isla

Just a quiet day in Renmark. We headed into town to the annual Renmark market by the river. Then wandered back to the caravan park for a lazy day by the river catching up on a bit of R & R. Nick finally made it onto the "I caught a fish" list with the biggest carp of the stay. Paddy also managed to catch his first fish for the trip.

After a slow start to the morning we decided on a day trip to Wentworth. Armed with boogie boards, we headed back east to Victoria and then over the Murray River into NSW (3 states in 1 day!). Found our way to Perry sandhills and spent a very fun hour running up the hills and sliding back down on the boards. We also checked out the Murray-Darling Junction and the loch.
