Hey all, thanks for your messages, love reading them! We are safe and sound having a detaox relaxation week in Ko Lipe. Staying here for maybe 5 days then heading up to Ko Phi Phi by bus and ferries for a while then onto bangkok where alex will be off to cambodia, and im going to explore a few more islands on the north east coast.. fun times then back for a few days in bangkok then we fly to bali on the 18th!! hope everyone is well and looking forward to xmas! right, off to follow a jungle trail to a remote beach now.. :) putting pics up tomo hopefully X

By the time you get this message, you'll have had your trip to the marine park. Sounds great and a far cry from the Full Moon Party! Satun is one of the few places I remember from my VERY brief stay in Thailand (travelling across from one side of Malaysia to the other). We got a taxi from Hat Yai to Satun, then a long-tailed boat through the mangrove swamps to Kuala Perlis in Malaysia, before getting the ferry over to Langkawi. The trip was particularly memorable because I had a huge boil on my bum.

The photos are great. What an idyllic spot - and more to come! We are all fine, if shivering in the wind, rain and cold...
