It's day two it is still raining. After going through my photos of the Remembrance day parade, the colours from the French flags have made me re-think my choice of shooting this project in black and white as the blues and reds would get lost on the monochrome. I walked around the village for a while to see what I could find but because of the rain there was not many people around and being a dull day my images haven't came out how I would like. On a brighter note...

After arriving with no problems I was picked up and we stopped by bernard's bar and had a drink with a few of the locals. Back to the guest house for spicy sausage casserole and wine. Today as it's remembrance day or armistice day in France there is a parade in the village where the mayor and war veterans will be present in their medals to honour their fallen comrades. Afterwards I have a dinner party to attend.
