Twenty five hours. That's how long it took me to get from Miami, Florida to Selma, Alabama. Was it worth it? You'd think that for twenty five hours on a bus (actually three buses because I had to transfer twice) it'd have to be somewhere pretty awesome to make it worthwhile. After much contemplating over the cost of spending two nights in Orlando and taking a bus trip out to the Kennedy Space Center ($90) I went for it. And I'm very glad I did. After Charleston, SC I was bound to be disappointed by whatever came next. Savannah, Georgia has a lot of the same charm and cute houses that Charleston had but it wasn't quite as good somehow.
