Not much news from here.. erm Jen and Adam made a lamb roast for Ad's birthday on Monday which was nice. All the boys are messy and everything in the house leaks.. I've resorted to go swimming every other day so I don't have to use the shower there!!

I've started Spanish lessons so I don't look like a lemon when I'm in S.America but it's really hard. I can't even pronouce my name properly! oh well I've got 8 lessons left so maybe I'll improve. I've been debating whether to get a SLR camera before the travels next year - there is one on Amazon at £220.. maybe I'll treat myself at xmas!

Hello,

Well, today I don't know what to write. I had cereal for my tea because I have indigestion and I feel sick now! I have a new boss at work who everyone called Man-chelle instead of Michelle. She's a bit of a slave-driver type but she doesn't know I hide in a store-room pretty much every day reading my book! Ha ha! I sometimes do some of my knitting in there too.

In the mornings I will usually pretend to be getting things from the fridge but I will have a cake or sandwich in the fridge and I will be eating a bit of it each time I 'get something' from it. I had a caramel shortbread this morning. Maybe that is why I have indigestion, from wolfing my food down as I am hiding. I will get caught one day. I got caught eating my sandwich under a desk in French at school and I used to keep dried pasta in my blazer for when I got hungry in Physics.

On a Physics note, do you remember Mr Wakeham and how he'd say 'Stand up!' at the beginning of the lesson then, 'You may sit down if you have a ruler, an eraser, a pencil, your homework...' Oh, those were the days!

Anyway, I enjoyed your last blog, it was mighty fine. Rich and Pie say hi, so do the family.. Say hi to Kate for me. I do say hi via email but she never replies... Perhaps I should take the hint. Take care!

Aah Helen you may think you're normal but even though you're now a Fower you are still a Dines deep down and therefore you are not normal. Far from it in fact. I still think you are very mean to Buster Boo though - he would love to go to your house - i saw 3 Busters at the weekend. None were quite to his standard however!

Fruit picking would be ok i think but our insurance doesnt cover us for some reason - and also the money defo wouldnt be as good as the office job i have now - thats why im staying here just for a while. I always said 1 thing i wouldnt do is a 9-5 office job - so now im doing 9-6 haha!

Yeah i think you should also defo talk the family into London - it would be really funny!

I like the food updates also - Georgie you are very good at keeping me informed and Helen and think you should carry on with them also. Today I had a chicken schnitzel and lettuce sandwich for lunch and tonight im having pasta with mushroom and peppers and sauce for tea.

Basically - we are going up the coast the 3 weeks before xmas and so when we get back we wont have anywhere to live and I think the Hostels might already be sold out - so it could be a cosy little tent or sleeping on the beach! I was telling Big Amy about it & she said when she was in Sydney alot of travellers did fruit picking - good fun & good money - the work would be a bit physical though - don't know how you'd feel about that! I think you should try & get a job at Sydney Zoo & dress up as a Roo!! I know it is a long way off, but where are you spending New Year? When Amy was there she went to the Harbour & she said they had the best fireworks she has ever seen!

Went out with Tim, Mum, Dad, Amy & Lena last night. Went for a pub tea. Had lovely night. Lena is lovely. We discussed coming to London for my bday & everyone thought it was a good idea. I am just imagining the reunion at Heathrow - running with arms wide open........ Anyway, I'll sort it!

Anyway I had best get back to work now - I have just had a bowl of Heinz Veg soup & a yogurt! Trying to be like Georgie but it just doesn't sound right! I am not random enough! I am too normal. I am quite sorry that this job has been QUIET! I know how you like to talk. I'm being quite bad today as I'm supposed to be framing drawings for Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (where I have to drive to tomorrow to deliver them) but I'm 'internetting' and drinking wine. All our wine has been free recently, I was given a bottle at work and Rich wrote off a wine enthusiast's flooded cellar wine stash a while ago... The owner of the wine said they wanted the cash, didn't want the floaty flood wine so Rich and his colleagues shared it out! It tastes fine, in moderation anyway... Makes my stomach sore in the morning if I drink too much!

I have sold a painting and I have a commission, a series of commissions from an interior designer, I do not know how I stand tax-wise with this stuff and am keeping records for the future... My back is OK and I have a mouth ulcer. I will be making a hotpot this week which Rich and I will eat with pickled red cabbage.

Will you have a Christmas address? Very far ahead of myself here but I'll be wanting so send a card at least! Maybe even a PRESENT.

Oh huncle maffew i have got to be so quick. Grandma is outside watering the cows and she dosnt know that i am on the computer, but hi have some hawful news! Dont worry too much about the German Exchange - maybe as you are both German you might find you have things in common - maybe she likes football, maybe she likes going on walks, maybe she too thinks she's a cat and will sleep on the back of the chair in the living room. If she does that you'll have to have a quiet word and tell her only you are allowed to do that.

I havent met many dogs since i've been in sydney but only yesterday I was thinking how a litle dog like you would go well in our flat. You would like it here. Although its going to get very hot soon i think (i hope) so it might all be a bit much for you.

You'd best stay there really and keep and eye on granny and granddad as they are getting a bit mad in their old age.

Well g'day huncle maffew. Thought that hi would rite to you cos hi think that your family have forgotten hall about you and hi am the only one who still wuffx you. So man hexciting thinga have happened to me that you wouldn't believe it. Firstly we har having a german hexchange student coming to stay for ha week on friday and i'm soooooo worried. The thing is that she's German hand what ham i ???? - a german schnauzer. Hi'm worried habaout 2 things - one that she will expect me to bark in german hand the other is that hime worried that she might kidnap me because hime german and she might think that hi shouldn't br in Hingland. Think i might dig a hole into the field and hide when its time for her to go home. Also - do you know what else they're doing ??? Theyre taking that huge picture of winston churchill down in the hall. Hi just can't believe it ! Hope theyre not going to put one of Hitler hup instead. Well amy had a wonderful birthday. All the adults got drunk and played cricket in the paddock and i won a gold medal for feilding. Hit was so funny cos they had to have lots hov balls because i kept running off with them. Even gran and ted played but Wendy ran for them and fell flat on her face (but she had drunk a bottle of wine). Hi wuffed my head off. Hafter cricket hi had a quick bounce on the trampoline, the bit baby maffew then fell asleed exhausted!!! Hit was just so hexciting. Spencer wasn't hallowed out like me becuase he's not well trained like what hi ham. Think Amy and friends had a good time. Am y had a camera for her birthday, and she is so much better than you - you wouldn't believe hit. She took some luvly pictures of the sunset the other night and hall the cows came to watch so she took some of them too. Theyve made me have my hair cut hand a bath at the hairdressers hand hi look so gorgeous! Can you beleive this huncle maffew - i was dumped again hat the weekend.
