Woke up this morning in Siem Reap to the buzzing of tuk tuks. Our flight leaves Cambodia this morning, bound for Bangkok, to catch our connection to Auckland, NZ. We're preparing for a long day. Yikes, October! We don't want to go home yet. This morning we left our guesthouse at 7am with our Tuk Tuk driver and an English speaking guide that we hired for the day. They took us all around the Angkor complex and we visited at least 10 temples before returning to Angkor Wat for a very detailed tour of the perimeter of the temple to understand all of the carvings that tell the story of the Cambodian people. Enjoyed a bit of a sleep in this morning and watched the simpsons movie in our room since it was raining for a bit. Grabbed some breakfast in the cafe downstairs before heading off to Old Market downtown. The market is a bunch of indoor stalls selling everything from pigs to jewelry. Woke up early and actually had a dream about going to starbucks even though I don't drink coffee. Ran and got some tea and food from starbucks before heading off to the aiport for our flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The flight was only 30 minutes long but we got a meal.
