Hello everyone - thanks so much for reading our blog we really weren't sure if everyone would!! Your messages are so lovely and have been making us chuckle each time we manage to log on!

The answer to your question about the great wall - no we didn't have to walk back, our hotel was just at the end of our treck and then the bus picked us up from there and took us back to Beijing!!!! We really don't think we could have turned around and walked back again!!!!

I know you are off to Cambodia sometime but are you doing Vietnam? If so a friend of mine has married a Vietnamese girl and I can check out where you should go - perhaps even to see her family? Only 400 turned up at John & Yen's wedding in Hanoi but he tells me 5$ goes a long way out there..
